This is a little something I did the other day which I'm really happy with considering i barely ever do drawings of men (please click on the image to see more details). I thought I would post it up on here even though it has been on my Deviantart for a while now, it's just i haven't really posted anything on here for a while.
And since we are on the subject of drawings of men, I would like to share with you a Deviantart artist that i am extremely fond of. The only thing i know about this artist is he goes by the name of Lucjan and was born in 1988. He seems like the type of artist that likes to keep himself to himself and perhaps that also might be the reason why i get drawn to his images. It's the mystery and ambiguity; not just because of the artist himself but also what i feel gets portrayed in these beautiful drawings.
I like the almost unfinished quality; yet you can see all the thought that has gone into the drawings which is portrayed instinctively in the facial expressions and body language of his male characters. His placements of colour are interesting but still subtle enough to not over power what I can only assume are the messages of the images.
Perhaps I am looking too deeply into the ideas of the drawings but since i know so little about this artist, it can be nice to form personal opinions of art you like, no?
